Ihan aluksi lukijoille: Jokainen työ ja prosessi, on
erilainen keskenään, sillä en työskentele aina samalla tavalla tai tyylillä. Tässä
postauksessa esittelen lyhyesti, kuinka tämä kuva on tehty.
Aloitin homman luonnostelemalla erilaisia asentoja, ilmeitä
ja hiustyylejä. Kumitin ylimääräiset ja turhat viivat pois sekä korostin niitä,
joihin olin tyytyväinen.
Ihoon ja hiuksiin on käytetty kylmän harmaita Copiceja (C1,
C3, C5), kaulakoruun lämpimän harmaita (W3, W5) ja öööm...
"mekko" sekä hanskat on tehty W9:llä. Minulla ei ole violettia Copicia, joten jouduin
hieman kikkailemaan ja sekoitinkin lämpimiä harmaita, vaaleaa sinistä ja
vaaleanpunaista keskenään lonkeroa varten. Copic-leikkien jälkeen siirryin
käyttämään puuvärejä, joita on käytetty silmämeikissä ja kaulakorussa, sekä
tuomaan ihoon vivahde violettia ja korostamaan lonkeron violettia.
Taustaa varten tarvittiin kuivapastelleja. Vuolin sinisestä,
mustasta ja valkoisesta pastellista pölyä, jonka hinkutin paperiin vanulapun
avulla. Kuten kuvasta näkyy, limaiset sormeni jättivät tosi kivat sormenjäljet.
Kuplat on tehty kumittamalla kuivapastellia ohuella kumilla.
Onneksi on Photoshop ja Patch tool ♥, jolla poistin ärsyttävät
sormenjäljet.
Sormenjälkioperaation jälkeen korjasin hieman kontrastia,
lisäsin valkoista hiuksiin, korostin jo olemassa olevia kuplia sekä lisäsin
niitä.

Mikä vaihe näyttää teistä parhaimmalta?
Translation
First off, every piece and process is different, because I don't have "an own
style" and I like to try out different ways to create art. But anyways,
here's how I made this piece.
I started
by sketching different poses, hairstyles, facial expressions etc. When I was
happy with my sketch, I enhanced the final lines and erased the ones that I
wasn't happy with.
Then I used
cool grey Copics (C1, C3 and C5) for the skin and the hair. For the necklace
and the earring I used warm greys (W3, W5). Her errrm... dress(?) and gloves
are done with W9. I didn't have any purple Copics for the tentacle so I mixed
some warm greys, light blue and pink. After finishing with Copics I added a
hint of purple with colored pencils on her skin and tentacle. I also used pencils
for her eyeshadow and added some yellow to the jewelry.
For the
background I used black, white and blue dry pastels. I scraped along the stick
to create some fine dust and applied it to the paper with a cotton pad. As you
can see, I had greasy fingers so I left some fingerprints on my work...
nice... The bubbles are made with a thin eraser.
I got rid
of the nasty fingerprints with Photoshop by using the Patch tool ♥.
After that,
I adjusted the contrast, added white on her hair, highlighted the existing
bubbles and added some more.
